The MACP’s Board of Directors has appointed Mary Yap as the new MACP General Manager with effect from 1 February 2021 to administer the whole business and operations of MACP.

Mary is no stranger to the industry as she has served the trade for more than 24 years. She was Assistant General Manager of MACP formerly before decided to take 3 years rest from her career. In 2020, she reinstated to MACP to steer licensing team as Head of General Licensing.

With enormous experience and knowledge in music licensing, she is credible to cultivate and navigate the development of the company from now onwards. It is an achievement for the company as being able to groom its staff to lead the entire MACP team for the outstanding interest.

The Board of Directors warmly welcomes Mary Yap into her current role. We believe with her years of experience in the industry will extensively boost MACP’s progress and goals as the premier collective management organisation for songwriters and music publishers in Malaysia and globally.
