2. Annual Licences

MACP's music licence is an annual contract that is automatically renewed. This permits the licensee to utilise musical works from the MACP repertoire, as well as musical works from our affiliated societies around the world, under the terms of the music licence provided.
The music licence covers the public performance rights for the businesses includes:

3. Permit Licences

The music licence granted by MACP is issued for all occasion(s) per event/venue/day. A permit licence is required from MACP if it involves any public performance which uses copyright musical work in the event.
The music licence covers the public performance rights for the events include:

- Dinner & Dance, Luncheon or Dinner Show, Graduation
- Product Launch, Fashion Show, Beauty Pageant
- Sport & E-Sport Event, Family Day, Carnival, Free Concert
- Exhibition, Seminar and Conference
- Wedding Function
- Blanket Music Licence for One-Off Music Event
4. Digital Licences
- The MACP music licence covers the communication to the public rights for online and mobile music consumption in the digital environment.
The digital environment is in rapid growth and has established as a source of revenue and advertising opportunity for online businesses and services. If you are using music in your online apps or web-based application that is accessible in Malaysia, you are required to obtain a digital online licence from MACP. The music licence covers the communication and/or reproduction rights for the online and mobile usage of music in the digital environment include:
