Writer Members
Registration requirements:
- An original composer and/or lyricist.
- Created at least one (1) song, with a minimum length of two (2) minutes per song and fulfil any of the following:-
- Commercially performed for at least three (3) times in the last twelve (12) months in any premise, venue or event;
- Recorded as part of a commercially-released movie or film;
- Broadcasted on TV, cable or radio at least three (3) in the last twelve (12) months; or
- Commercially released or published on one (1) digital streaming/video platform with at least 1,000 views.
- For jingle songwriters, created one (1) or more jingles that is at least 60 seconds long and used in advertising or other commercial uses.
- Provide a copy of your signed publishing agreement, if you're assigned with a publisher (You may omit any confidential information).
Required documents:
- Copy of your MyKad (IC) or passport (for foreign writer)

Publisher
Publisher Members
Registration requirements:

Have at least ten (10) songs with at least two (2) minutes length, and and fulfil any of the following:
- Commercially performed at least three (3) timesin the last twelve (12) months in any premise, venue or event,
- Recorded as part of a commercially-released movie or film;
- Broadcasted on TV, cable or radio at least three (3) in the last twelve (12) months; or
- Commercially released or published on one (1) digital streaming/video platform with at least 1,000 views.
- For jingle publisher, have at least fifty (50) or more jingles with a minimum of 600 seconds in total (equivalent to 50 songs) used in advertising or other commercial uses.
- Submits company documents as proof of ownership in Company.
- Have a local office address registered.
- Have a local bank account.
- Provide a copy of your signed publishing agreement, if you're assigned with a publisher (You may omit any confidential information).
Required documents:
- Copy of the company’s Certificate of Incorporation (SSM Certificate)
- Copy of the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the company (If applicable)
- Copy of your Standard Publishing Agreement with the authors and composers which clearly states the rights assigned, terms of royalty distributed between parties, territories covered and length of period of the agreement
