MACP has been declared as a Licensing Body under Section 27(A) of the Copyright Act, 1987 (332 Act) and Copyright Regulations (Licensing Body) 2012. The Certificate issued on 28 September 2012 by Yg Bhg Dato’ Azizan Mohamad Sidin, Controller of Copyright, Malaysia was handed over to MACP’s General Manager, Chan Miew Lan recently.

MACP is the first Licensing Body in Malaysia to be declared as a Licensing Body under the newly enforced amendments to promote transparency, accountability and good governance amongst licensing bodies.
