1. Mary Yap – General Manager Mary Yap has served the industry for more than 24 years. Her last post in MACP was as Assistant General Manager, before deciding to take a 3-year break from her career. She returned to MACP in 2020, as Head of General Licensing. The Board of Directors has appointed her as the General Manager effective 1 February 2021. She brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge to serve the company in her new capacity.

2. Justin Johari – Assistant General Manager, Legal Affairs & Enforcement Justin served as the Acting General Manager from 1 August 2018 to 31 January 2021. He returns to his original position, as Assistant General Manager, and will continue to handle matters related to legal affairs and enforcement.

3. Chan Yin Peng – Head of Finance, Admin & HR Chan Yin Peng joined MACP in 2017 as the Finance & Admin, Manager. She has contributed positively to the company in the past 3 years, including forming a team under her and securing the company’s financial interest especially during joint-licensing period. With effect from 1 January 2021, she begins her new role as Head of Department for Finance, Admin & Human Resources.

4. Ng Siew King – Head of Documentation & Distribution Siew King started her career with MACP in 2004 and later became the Manager for the Documentation and Distribution Department (D&D) in 2008. Over the years, she has been instrumental in developing the department, processes and staff under her care. With effect from 1 January 2021, she begins her new role as Head of Department for D&D.

5. Nge Siew Lan – Assistant Manager, General Licensing Siew Lan joined the Licensing Department in MACP in 2004. In 2014, she was promoted to Senior Licensing Officer. Through her dedication in handling renewal cases for general and corporate licensees, as well as overall administrative work for the department, she is given a new role as Assistant Manager, effective 1 January 2021.

6. Chiah Fong Jian, Ken – Assistant Manager, General Licensing Ken Chiah joined the company in 2010 and later was made Senior Licensing Officer in 2017. He manages renewal cases primarily for general and entertainment outlets, as well as adds value to the department through his knowledge in relation to information technology. As at 1 January 2021, he begins his new role as Assistant Manager.

7. Avinash Jaydas – Senior Licensing Officer, General Licensing Avinash has served the company since 2009. His portfolio involves approaching and handling new businesses. Through his enthusiasm and commitment over the years, he is promoted to Senior Licensing Officer effective 1 January 2021, and will be tasked with servicing the Company’s Association licensees as well as enforcement work, besides supervising the new business division.

8. Mohanathas A/L Gopalakrishnan – Senior Executive, Finance, Admin & HR Mohan joined the company in 2009 as Finance & Admin Assistant and has since served the company with utmost professionalism and dedication, especially in dealing with our members and suppliers under the Finance & Admin department. As at 1 January 2021, he begins his new role as Senior Executive with an additional responsibility of assisting in human resource matters.
