Definition
Mechanical Music refers to performance of music by the use of any form of recordings (including digital format), CD, DVD, tape player, radio and television and includes from, and copied onto digital devices such as tablets and smartphones where the music is provided for background only.
Note:
01. Unless expressly specified in your licence, MACP reserves the right to licence usages of multiple categories separately within any premises.
02. MACP is entitled to impose a reasonable penalty up to TWO (2) times of the tariffs in the case if false or inaccurate information are provided resulting in lesser licence fees to MACP.
03. MACPLicence Tariffs are provided for guidance and are not exhaustive. Any tariff not listed here will be supplied upon request.
04. MACPLicence Tariffs are adjusted yearly in line with the local consumer price index for the preceding calendar year published by the Department of Statistics, Malaysia. For verification of the CPI, please contact – Jabatan Perangkaan Malaysia at 03-8885 7000 (Bahagian Unit Harga-Harga).
